Each year the Albert Park Women’s Golf Club members organise an annual charity day. This year the committee thought it was most fitting to remember our dear friend Kate Nolan in this way.  As you all know Kate was a friend to many as well as a coach, mentor and great supporter of our club.  Kate passed away suddenly at the young age of 44, leaving her family, friends and golfing community devastated.

Many generous sponsors and supporters have donated to the day including Provincial Living, Botany Essentials, Callaway, Titleist, Drummond Golf Melbourne, Albert Park Driving Range, Craig Spence, WPGA, Moonah Links, Albert Park Golf Course, Michelle Becroft PGA Instructor, Anglesea Golf Club and the list goes on.  APW members also donated amazing merchandise for 12 “individually themed” hampers for raffling.  All profits raised from the event will be donated towards Kate’s other passion, the South Melbourne Lifesaving Club in support of CPR training.

Not surprising, the event “sold out” within a week of publishing.  We are indeed disappointed for those who missed out.  Fortunately, you can still be part of the day through donating, details as per below:
